Old Kofun Walkthrough

Upon entering the Old Kofun, proceed straight ahead to discover the first small chest. Opening this chest will reward you with the Elegant Tanto of Wonders (Rare Tanto). As you explore, crawl through the gap to the southwest and follow the designated path.

Shortly, you’ll reach a waterlogged section; utilize Naoe’s grappling hook to navigate to the far side. Descend the nearby stairs, where you’ll discover a chest containing valuable items including Hemp Cloth, Oakwood, and Mon.

Afterward, look for a small gap in the northeast. Pass through and jump into the water, pressing the Dive button on your controller to explore the underwater pathway. Once you resurface, you’ll find another chest containing rewards such as Leather, Oakwood, and Hemp Cloth.
Climb back up to the previous spot and again use Naoe’s grappling hook to advance. Moving forward, take the southeastern path you come across. Ascend the stairs and employ the grappling hook to access another area where you can loot the Silent Bow of Wonders (Rare Bow).

Once you’ve gathered these rewards, dive back into the water to return to the prior location. This time, veer northeast when you reach the split.

At the end of this route, you’ll discover another opening leading to a large water body. Swim across, climb up, and you’ll locate the main chest of the Old Kofun, where you can collect the previously mentioned rewards.

After claiming your loot, navigate through a small hole in the southeast to exit the area with ease. Continue onward, scaling the rocks, and use the grappling hook to reach the summit. Proceed southeast until you encounter a barricade.

Here, you’ll find explosives that can be detonated for clearing your way. Throw Naoe’s Kunai at these explosives to create a path, then continue southeast to successfully exit the Old Kofun in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
