On Feb 14th, Soyeon appeared as a guest on MBC FM4U’s “Kim Shin-young’s Noon Song of Hope” .
(G)I-DLE released their second full album “2” on Jan 29th. When asked about the reason for returning with a full album, Soyeon replied, “I think the biggest difference between a full album and a mini album is the number of songs. There were many songs that couldn’t be included in the mini album, so we wanted to release a full album no matter what.”
The title track of the new album, “Wife” , received a disqualification from KBS due to overly suggestive lyrics.
Regarding this, Soyeon expressed regret, “Many songs didn’t pass the review.” However, Soyeon happily said, “‘Wife’ passed the review here (MBC).”
