On February 1st, Rain’s YouTube channel “Season B Season” uploaded a new video titled “‘Do you remember me..?’ Genius idol met in 10 years, cousin Soyeon” .
In the video, Jeon So-yeon said, “We’ve met before” . Surprised by that, Rain hesitated for a while and recalled, “Did we see each other in the old office?” . In fact, the two used to be in the same company.
Jeon So-yeon then shared, “During our company trainee days, I was evaluated once and you came there.” Hearing that, Rain said, “You might misunderstand this, everyone. I did not evaluate. In our trainee days, we used to have evaluations every week or at the end of the month. We met once during the evaluation. That was already 5~6 years ago, right?” . Jeon So-yeon replied, “It’s been more than that probably, I was just about 10th grade…About 9-10 years ago” . Rain commented, “You still look like a baby” .

Rain also asked Jeon So-yeon how she joined CUBE. In response, the female idol said, “I actually didn’t have a plan to join CUBE Entertainment. I took a test for an arts high school. I prepared a CD but the CD didn’t work at the examination center so I didn’t get in” , adding “There was a poster for CUBE audition at my dance class so I just gave it a try, and I got accepted. I thought it was the last hope.”
Hearing the story, Rain said, “CUBE is like my relative’s house while my home is JYP” , adding “The vice president at CUBE used to be my manager when I was young. He was my manager 25 years ago when I was a trainee.”
