Exploring Atocpan: Pyroculus Locations in Genshin Impact
The latest update, version 5.5, introduces a new region called Atocpan in Genshin Impact, where adventurers can discover the last tribe of Natlan, known as the “Collective of Plenty.”This unique tribe exhibits a distinct lifestyle and is characterized by its proximity to an active volcano.
Travelers brave the treacherous environment, eager to uncover the hidden treasure chests and collect the Pyroculus scattered throughout the area. In total, there are 38 Pyroculus available for players to find in Atocpan. This guide provides detailed locations for each of these collectible items.
1. Atocpan Pyroculus Location 1
Begin your search by teleporting to the waypoint south of the Stone Seele Records Domain. From there, proceed northeast and climb the nearby mountain. Take control of a Tatankasaurus and charge at a Matador Monetoo to break its shield. Follow the Monetoo as it creates a Phlogiston floor, allowing you to leap onto a wooden platform and retrieve the Pyroculus.
2. Atocpan Pyroculus Location 2
Return to the waypoint and move southeast to the hill’s summit. Utilize a Yumkasaurus and grip onto the Coilgrass Sigils to access the Pyroculus floating above.
3. Atocpan Pyroculus Location 3
From your previous location, head towards the shore and take control of a Koholasaurus. Swim to the southwest to find a Pyroculus floating on the water’s surface.

While still in control of the Koholasaurus, swim south to a small island to collect another Pyroculus suspended in the air.

Head over to the teleport waypoint east of “Collective of Plenty.” Move northeast to track down a Matador Monetoo. Just like the first Pyroculus, you need to either take control of a Tatankasaurus or use a character from the local tribe to tackle the Monetoo, which will unveil a new path to another Pyroculus.

From where you are, fly to the north towards the next hill. You may find this Pyroculus during the Warrior’s Challenge quest from Urubamba, as it’s located conveniently nearby.

Once at the hilltop, head north and glide down towards a Pyroculus located near a bridge.

Keep heading north toward the fissure in the ground. Use the Tatankasaurus to eliminate a Pulverite, and you’ll spot another Pyroculus on your way to engage the Lava Dragon Statue boss.

Teleport to the “Collective of Plenty”eastern waypoint and look east to discover a Secret Source Dragon Idol, which is guarded by Hilichurls. Defeat them to activate the dragon and trigger a hidden quest that leads you to rescue a Secret Source Servant in a concealed cave. This quest ultimately rewards you with the ninth Pyroculus.

Continue along the pathway you’ve followed, allowing the dragon to guide you to a site where wind currents are present. Utilize the wind current to soar up and grab the Pyroculus located high in the sky.

Teleport to the waypoint southeast of the Lava Dragon Statue Boss, then head to the shore. Transform into a Tatankasaurus and sprint across the water to claim the Pyroculus resting atop the sea.

Visit the Statue of the Seven in Atocpan, and turn around to find a Pyroculus directly in your sight.

Teleport to the Fallingstar Fields waypoint and follow the path to the east, leading you to the entrance of some ancient ruins. Inside, you will find a hole with a Pyroculus waiting for you.

Return to your previous waypoint and travel southeast to discover a Pyroculus atop a boulder. Ascend a nearby Tatankasaurus to trigger the Phlogiston sprout next to the boulder, allowing you to create a Gaseous Phlogiston to float skyward.

Utilize the Fallingstar Fields waypoint again, and look northeast to spot another Pyroculus situated directly in front of a dragon statue.

Moreover, there’s a hidden achievement waiting for you in this location.

Next, head back to Remnants of Tetenanco using its southwest waypoint. Travel south to the coastline, where you can assume control of a Tatankasaurus and charge at the Matador Monetoo. Follow it until you unlock a Precious Chest and a Spiritway that leads you to the next Pyroculus.

From your last position, travel north and ascend the mountain where you’ll find yet another Pyroculus resting atop some wooden planks.

Teleport to the Remnants of Tetenanco north waypoint and control a Tatankasaurus to remove the Pulverite located behind the waypoint, revealing a hidden path that leads to yet another Pyroculus.

Exit the cavern and move to the right side to find another set of Pulverite to eliminate. Continue along the path until you spot another Pyroculus, and take advantage of this cave for farming Dracolite resources.
