As you reach your destination, you’ll encounter a heavily infested area populated by Hilichurls and afflicted by Abyssal Corrosion. Defeat this initial wave of enemies, but be prepared; Abyssal Oozes will soon join the fray.
Expect a second wave comprising more Hilichurls, along with Rifthounds and a Tenebrous Mimiflor, all while more Abyssal Oozes appear. It’s crucial to have a dependable healer in your party to mitigate damage from the Rifthounds and the Abyssal Oozes’ assaults. Continue this battle until only the corrupted mud balls remain.
To eradicate the Abyssal Oozes, often humorously referred to as “mud balls”by Paimon, utilize a character from the Collective of Plenty, such as Varesa or Iansan. If these characters aren’t part of your lineup, approach the nearby Tatankasaur Spiritsconce. Transform into this creature and utilize its charged attack ability to effectively destroy the Abyssal Oozes.
With all Abyssal Oozes eliminated, proceed to the central mechanism tainted by Abyssal energy. Activating this mechanism will cleanse the area of its corruption.
