To embark on this journey, players must successfully complete the Nahuatzin’s Leap quest. At the conclusion of this segment, the Traveler takes a plunge into the depths of the Great Volcano and finds themselves enveloped in darkness.
Upon finishing Nahuatzin’s Leap, the next quest, “The Frozen, Rekindling Land,”automatically activates, guiding players through the exploration of the Ancient Sacred Mountain and leading them to uncover the lost city of ancient dragons, which has remained untouched for 500 years.

Illuminating the Path Ahead
After descending into the shadowy chamber, search for a nearby teleport point. Proceed ahead to locate a locked door, which your trusty saurian companion can help unlock. Follow them to the room’s center to activate a mechanism.
Once activated, a stream of liquid phlogiston will illuminate the path, unlocking the aforementioned door. Continue along this newly revealed route until you encounter a Secret Source Servant.
Engage with the Secret Source Servant, who introduces itself as Ehecatl. This entity will follow you and assist in unlocking a door ahead. Upon entering the next chamber, you will find a substantial room with a central mechanism. Activate this mechanism to reveal the map of the Ancient Sacred Mountain.
Unlocking the map gratifies you with the “Rendezvous with Ruin”achievement. Continue exploring to the south, leading you to another Secret Source Servant situated on a platform.
Interact with the newly found Secret Source Servant, who will request your assistance in locating two Astral Assemblages. This quest leads to two additional tasks: “The Forsaken Sea of Wisdom”and “Sealed Site of Sacrifice.”
Completing The Forsaken Sea of Wisdom Quest
To successfully navigate the Forsaken Sea of Wisdom quest in Genshin Impact, make your way to the western island of Ancient Sacred Mountain. Here, you will need to activate an Astral Assemblage by solving various puzzles and overcoming Abyssal enemies.

Unraveling the Sealed Site of Sacrifice Quest
After completing The Forsaken Sea of Wisdom quest, locate the Spiritway that leads you to the southern island of the Ancient Sacred Mountain. As you progress to the south, you will encounter a massive staircase leading to a sealed Astral Assemblage.
This staircase will be out of alignment, requiring you to rearrange it correctly. Utilize the special charge ability from the Tatankasaur or a character with Collective of Plenty traits, like Varesa, to adjust the stairs into their proper positions.
Once you have successfully arranged the staircase, use the special charge attack to strike the sealed Astral Assemblage, breaking its seal and activating it to complete the Sealed Site of Sacrifice quest in Genshin Impact.

Journey to the Celestial Axis
After activating both Astral Assemblages, proceed to the Celestial Axis, the heart of the Ancient Sacred Mountain. Here, you will encounter the final Secret Source Servant, who reveals its name as Amaru. It will prompt you to activate the Celestial Axis, leading deeper into the region. Completing this step awards you the “Axial Rotation”achievement.
Following your enlightening conversation with Amaru, The Frozen, Rekindling Land quest concludes, granting players the following rewards:
