Since the unveiling of Natlan in Genshin Impact, players have been intrigued by the Sacred Mountain volcano located in the region’s southwest. With the arrival of the 5.5 update, HoYoverse expanded the game by introducing the Atocpan region, highlighting its unique Collective of Plenty tribe, the iconic Sacred Mountain volcano, and additional features.
While players can now embark on an adventure across the Sacred Mountain, access to this area requires the completion of specific world quests to unlock the hidden depths beneath the volcano. The first step involves completing the quest titled The Way Into the Mountain, which initiates after conversing with two children from the Collective of Plenty.
Upon successfully finishing The Way Into the Mountain, players automatically gain access to the next quest, Nahuatzin’s Leap, which is part of the broader Path to the Flaming Peaks questline.
Unlocking the Nahuatzin’s Leap Quest in Genshin Impact

To access the Nahuatzin’s Leap quest, players must first complete The Way Into the Mountain. This brief quest involves defeating various Abyssal enemies to unveil a Spiritway that connects to the summit of the Sacred Mountain volcano.
Travel to the Skyfire Circlet

After unveiling the Spiritway during The Way Into the Mountain, players can immediately begin the Nahuatzin’s Leap quest. The initial task requires taking the Spiritway to reach the Skyfire Circlet, which can be found right near the ruins adjacent to the Fallingstar Fields.
Next to the Spiritway, you will find a Kohalasauran Spiritsconce. This allows you to transform into a Kohalasaur or to utilize a character like Mavuika or Mualani, who is adept at riding the Spiritway.
Reaching the Peak of the Skyfire Circlet

Once you arrive at the Skyfire Circlet, proceed to the far end of the peak. A teleport waypoint will be located at your landing spot—make sure to activate it for future travel.

From the teleport waypoint, head northward until you discover an Iridescent Inscription near a mechanism. Interact with this inscription to activate the mechanism, which will cause a Qucusaur spirit to appear.

Engage with the nearby Qucusaur, which will lead you to the peak of the Skyfire Circlet. At the summit, you will find another teleport waypoint along with a Pyroculus.

As you approach the teleport waypoint, you’ll notice a dragon-shaped machine being lifted by a Qucusaur, which then plunges into the volcano.
Jumping into the Crater

Following the Qucusaur’s lead, the Traveler decides to leap into the volcano as well. Utilize the Qucusaur Spiritsconce at the edge of the circlet and dive downward.

Upon reaching the bottom of the volcano, you’ll find yourself teleported into a completely dark room, signifying the conclusion of the Nahuatzin’s Leap quest in Genshin Impact.
