The Brightcrown Mountains is the concluding area players will explore in the initial Mondstadt region of Genshin Impact. Its access is restricted by a wind barrier until players fulfill early objectives in Chapter Three of the Archon Quest Prologue.
Encompassing a total of 20 Anemoculi, this locale presents the greatest challenge for collectors due to the intricate climbing and hidden locations involved. Fortunately, this guide details the whereabouts of all Anemoculi within the Brightcrown Mountains.
Anemoculus Location 1
To find the first Anemoculus, head from the teleport waypoint close to the Cecilia Garden domain towards the coastal cliff by Cider Lake. It sits atop a tree at this location.
Anemoculus Location 2
Proceed from the first location until you encounter breakable stones. Utilize a Claymore character to clear the debris and uncover the hidden Anemoculus behind it.
Anemoculus Location 3
Once again teleport to the waypoint near Cecilia Garden, then navigate to the pointed cliff’s edge. The Anemoculus will be positioned right on the cliff’s brink.
Anemoculus Location 4
From this point forward, the Anemoculi are accessible only after Venti lifts the barrier surrounding Stormterror’s Lair, which occurs in Chapter Three of the Archon Quest. Progress through the quest until you unlock the Statue of the Seven within this area.
Climb the building to discover both an Anemoculus and a Luxurious Chest. Reaching the summit awards you with the achievement titled “Remains of the Gale.”
Anemoculus Location 5
This Anemoculus can be found while breaking the seals within Stormterror’s Lair during the Archon Quest. Head to the northwestern part and scale the pillar located near the guiding light ceremony.
Anemoculus Location 6
To obtain this Anemoculus, glide from the Statue of the Seven toward the designated cliff, where you can easily collect it after landing.
Anemoculus Location 7
Visit the teleport waypoint situated in the southwestern section of Stormterror’s Lair to find this Anemoculus perched upon a nearby tree.
Anemoculus Location 8
Exit Stormterror’s Lair via the teleport to the Cecilia Garden domain. Head west along the path towards Stormterror’s Lair, where you’ll find the Anemoculus nestled within a ravine.
Anemoculus Location 9
This Anemoculus is relatively straightforward to obtain, provided you have ample stamina. Climb the pillar near the northwestern teleport waypoint within Stormterror’s Lair, or alternatively, glide down from its peak for easier access.
Anemoculus Location 10
This Anemoculus is one of the trickiest to locate. Although the mini-map may suggest it’s on a cliff’s summit, the actual location requires you to shimmy across to a non-climbable pillar near the northeastern teleport waypoint in Stormterror’s Lair.
Seek out a small alcove that offers sufficient height for the jump to reach the pillar. From there, you can ascend the pillar and drop down to retrieve the Anemoculus.
Anemoculus Location 11
Fast travel to the southwestern waypoint in Stormterror’s Lair, then move behind the Anemo Monument situated on a cliff. Activating it generates speed-boosting rings that guide you to the Anemoculus.
Anemoculus Location 12
This Anemoculus is relatively easy to secure within Stormterror’s Lair. Travel south from the southwestern waypoint to find a wind current that directs you towards a cliff. Leap downwards to discover a pillar housing the Anemoculus.
Anemoculus Location 13
The next three Anemoculi, commencing with this one, are situated near the center of Stormterror’s Lair. The mini-map markers can be deceiving. The first of these, marked as the northernmost, rests under a cliff where you can see some Hilichurls ascending the stairs to the top of the building.
Anemoculus Location 14
The westernmost Anemoculus is concealed among rocks beyond the Hilichurl camps, complete with wooden huts and ascending stairs.
Anemoculus Location 15
The last Anemoculus in the central area of Stormterror’s Lair is found one level below the Statue of the Seven. Defeating the Ruin Guard in the vicinity will facilitate your retrieval of this Anemoculus.
Anemoculus Location 16
This Anemoculus can be accessed by descending the cliff near the Brightcrown Canyon teleport waypoint. Utilize the wind current to soar through the speed rings and reach your goal.
Anemoculus Location 17
From the Brightcrown Canyon teleport waypoint, glide down to collect this Anemoculus, which is shrouded by an Anemo barrier. Access is only granted from the top.
Anemoculus Location 18
Advance through the region until you reach some ruins that are guarded by a Ruin Guard. Climbing the stairs reveals breakable stones that conceal the Anemoculus. Activate three torches with a Pyro character to reveal an Exquisite Chest as well.
Anemoculus Location 19
High in the air, this Anemoculus necessitates activation of an Anemo Monument. Locate the highlighted area within Stormterror’s Lair to find the Monument and harness the wind current to claim the Anemoculus.
Anemoculus Location 20
The final Anemoculus is situated on one of the cliffs flanking the route to Stormterror’s Lair. Ascend the western cliffs until you pinpoint the Anemoculus located at a cliff’s edge.
