How to Access the Liminal Distillery
To secure a free Random Perk, players must first progress through an essential phase of the main Easter Egg quest. This involves acquiring the Ray Gun Mark II-W and unlocking the Liminal Distillery. Here’s a breakdown of the necessary steps:
- Obtain the Ray Gun Mark II from either the Mystery Box or the Armory.
- Upgrade it to the Ray Gun Mark II-W.
- Locate the Sconce from the box in the Banquet Hall near the GobbleGum Machine.
- Carry the Sconce to the Grand Foyer and place it in the designated slot near Juggernog.
- Complete the Simon Says minigame to open the Distillery.
- Interact with the painting within the Distillery and eliminate zombies using the Ray Gun Mark II-W nearby to unlock the portal.
Finding the Bell and Claiming a Free Perk
After unlocking the Liminal Distillery, the next task is to find a bell. Similar to the main Easter Egg quest, this bell is located in the Study. Players should check the glass cabinets and destroy them to locate the bell. Once found, simply press the interact button to collect it.
With the bell in hand, players can proceed with the Easter Egg quest. They should apply Brain Rot to any weapon, head to the Overlook, and place the bell on the bar inside. Following this, Brain Rot a zombie within the room before ringing the bell to receive the Metal Hip Flask.
To finally earn the free Random Perk, players must interact with the bell on the bar a total of 115 times. Interestingly, players do not need to meticulously count each interaction; the power-up will still spawn even if the bell is rung multiple times beyond 115. Therefore, spamming the interact button is a strategic move for quick acquisition.
