Creating a LEGO Account is Necessary
To secure the Mr. Dappermint skin at no cost, players must link their Fortnite account with a LEGO account. As a bonus for linking accounts for the first time, you’ll also receive the Explorer Emilie skin at no charge. Below are the step-by-step instructions to connect your LEGO account with Fortnite:
- Visit the Epic Games website.
- Log in to your Epic Games account.
- Locate your profile in the top-right corner of the page.
- Select Accounts.
- Click on Apps & Accounts.
- Find the LEGO account option on the page.
- Click Connect.
- Either create a new LEGO account or sign in if you already have one.
- Once you’re signed in, select Allow to finalize the linking of your accounts.

To obtain the Chord Kahele skin for free, players must earn XP by playing Fortnite on the mobile app. The process is straightforward; there’s no need to complete specific challenges, just engage in gameplay to earn XP.
You have until February 21, 2025, to fulfill the XP requirements for acquiring the free Chord Kahele skin. Do note that the Fortnite mobile app may not be universally available, but players across most regions in Europe should have access.
If you are unable to access the Fortnite mobile app and miss out on the Chord Kahele skin, don’t despair; the developers have indicated that this particular skin could return to the Shop at a later date. As with Mr. Dappermint, this skin will also come in both its Fortnite and LEGO styles.
