New Unscripted Series: Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service
Fox is once again joining forces with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay to introduce an exciting new unscripted series, marking the seventh collaboration between the network and the renowned culinary figure. Set to debut on May 21, this series is aptly titled Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service.
A Unique Spin on the Kitchen Nightmare Concept
This innovative show takes a fresh approach to the traditional Kitchen Nightmares format. Ramsay will help struggling restaurants, but with a twist—he will enter the establishments incognito. This covert style sets up a dramatic sequence where he can observe and address the shortcomings without the staff being aware of his presence initially.
What Viewers Can Expect
According to Fox, Ramsay will utilize a confidential source within each restaurant to collect unfiltered evidence, providing him with a comprehensive overview of the challenges they face. This insider not only keeps their identity hidden from the staff but also assists Ramsay in conducting an after-hours investigation. The use of black light technology reveals areas of neglect and cleanliness failures unseen in previous seasons. By the time Ramsay unveils himself to the restaurant team, it will be too late for them to hide any of their culinary mishaps.
“Over the years, I’ve embarked on many daring adventures alongside my partners at Fox,” Ramsay stated. “Secret Service is the most intrepid of them all. With undercover help and cutting-edge technology, I get to go full on ‘MI6′ with these restaurants — and they’ll never see it coming.”
Continuing the Ramsay Legacy
Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service adds to Fox’s expanding lineup of Ramsay-centric shows, which currently includes six others: Food Stars, Hell’s Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, MasterChef (recently renewed for a 15th season), MasterChef Junior, and Next Level Chef. In 2024, Ramsay had a show airing for 47 out of 52 weeks, with a continuous presence in 2025. Moreover, Fox and Ramsay’s production company, Studio Ramsay Global, are initiating a new digital culinary brand called Bite.
Fox’s Commitment to Culinary Entertainment
Michael Thorn, the president of Fox Television Network, praised Ramsay, stating, “Gordon is among the most prolific creative forces in television history, and along the way, has amassed an unbelievable fanbase. With limitless talent, Gordon infuses each of his series with its own remarkable, distinctive personality and unrivaled stakes, a reputation he certainly upholds with this terrific new concept that will once again keep his fans endlessly engaged.”
