Found Season 2: Danielle Savre Explains Why Sir’s Sister Might Not Be the Villain Gabi Assumes

Found returns with season 2, episode 18 titled “Missing While Heather,”scheduled for airing on Thursday, April 10 at 10 p.m. ET on NBC. This episode continues to explore intriguing story arcs, particularly focusing on the show’s new character revelation. Notably, discussions have been swirling around Sir’s half-sister, Lena—until now, she remained a nameless figure. However, the earlier episode “Missing While Manipulated”confirmed that Danielle Savre’s character is indeed Sir’s secret sibling.

Initially introduced as a romantic partner for Trent, Heather’s character trajectory quickly indicated that she would have a more substantial impact on the storyline. As tensions rise between the couple—especially when Heather takes on the role of Sir’s attorney, leading to a breakup—the complexities of her character deepen. While there are indications that she may have used her relationship with Trent to access Mosely & Associates, Savre hints that genuine feelings may have developed, suggesting that Heather is also a victim of Sir’s manipulation.

In a recent interview with ScreenRant, Danielle Savre discusses Heather’s enigmatic identity, the authenticity of her feelings for Trent, her dealings with Sir, and what audiences can expect from the upcoming episode of Found.

Lena Has Been Under Sir’s Manipulative Grip Her Entire Life

“Will Gabi be able to have compassion for Lena when the time comes?”

ScreenRant: When you were cast, did you know you were playing Sir’s sister?

Danielle Savre: No, I had no idea. I sensed that the character had deeper layers. My audition was focused on lawyer-related scenes, and I thought I might be cast simply as Trent’s love interest with a bit of sass. On my first day on set, though, it was a huge revelation when the team informed me that I was, in fact, Sir’s sister—a twist that even the crew seemed eager to keep under wraps.

Will we learn more about Lena’s background in the forthcoming episodes?

Danielle Savre: You’ll definitely see more of the brother-sister dynamic. Since the show revolves around missing children, it’s necessary to fill in some blanks. We’ll get hints about the relationship between Lena and Hugh, but not all details will be revealed. If a season 3 happens, more backstory may surface then. For now, expect to see the siblings confront their complicated relationship dynamics.

Heather’s Feelings for Trent Are Likely Authentic

“To me, that lends itself to, ‘She really has feelings for this guy.'”

Did Heather intend to separate Trent from Gabi, or did she genuinely develop feelings for him?

Danielle Savre: It seems she may have developed real affection for Trent. I’m portraying Heather as someone who isn’t using Trent exclusively for information anymore. Rather, she is attempting to convince him of her perspective, believing Gabi to be the antagonist. This indicates her true emotions are at play.

What was it like working with Mark-Paul Gosselaar as both your co-star and director?

Danielle Savre: It was a delightful but nerve-wracking experience, given my familiarity with his work on TV. Directing an episode added an exciting dynamic to our collaboration, even if it heightened my nervousness a bit. I truly enjoyed working with him, as actor-directors generally have great insights into performances.

Savre was Surprised by Future Events in Found Season 2

“How they actually unravel this and pull the thread and show how things play out is something I never saw coming.”

The promo for Episode 18 hints at a prison break. How does Heather fit into the larger picture?

Danielle Savre: I can’t reveal too much, but prepare for unexpected twists. The storytelling is crafted brilliantly, ensuring that even I was shocked by some major plot points. Elements of the narrative will keep everyone guessing right until the end.

Do you have a favorite episode from the upcoming season?

Danielle Savre: I’m particularly proud of the next episode, “Missing While Heather.”It offers rich dialogue and character exploration, allowing me to delve deeper into Lena’s persona than in prior episodes. The penultimate episode is also thrilling, packed with action and impactful moments directed by Demane Davis—another mentor of mine.
