Fortnite is bringing a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles event into the game with quests, free rewards, and more. Here’s the full rundown.
Legendary partnerships between Fortnite and many pop-culture franchises, such as movies, comic books, music, animated series, and other video games, have increased the game’s popularity. Collaborations like these attract a large number of generous fans to Fortnite and allow gamers to play as their favorite characters.
Throughout the years, collaborations have encompassed a wide spectrum of media, including Rick and Morty and Dragon Ball Z. Presently in Chapter 5 Season 1, Fortnite witnessed the introduction of a fresh partnership – one with the renowned Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
The TMNT collab brought character skins to the game.
Officially, Epic has finally announced that a special TMNT collab event will be coming to Fortnite soon.
Fortnite x TMNT event start date
According to the official Fortnite X account, the TMNT event will begin on February 9, 2024, right around after the update v28.20 arrives in the game on Tuesday, February 6th.

As players are aware, the current Fortnite map contains teleporting sewers and easter eggs to the collab, it will also bring some special themed items into the game like the much-awaited Pizza Party consumable item.
However, the event will also bring a special tab next to the Battle Pass menu alongside special quests that will grant players free rewards. Furthermore, the collab is rumored to bring a mini-pass, just like The Weeknd pass in Fortnite Festival.
Fortnite x TMNT event quests and rewards
Players will get a TMNT event in the game following the next update.
A new set of Fortnite x TMNT quests are currently active in the game under the Quests tab for players to complete. The current set of challenges is called April O’Neil Investigates! which rewards players with free XP upon completion.
Here are all the challenges and their reward:
- Talk to April (1) – 10,000 XP
- Hide in Sewer entrances (1) – 10,000 XP
- Visit the Underground HQ (1) – 10,000 XP
- Find empty pizza boxes (3) – 10,000 XP
