Maria “ChicaLive,”a popular Twitch streamer, recently endured a harrowing experience when her home was invaded by five masked individuals intent on stealing her vehicles. A video captured by her door security camera reveals the intruders, dressed in dark hoodies, as they attempted to break into her residence.
The robbers, armed with hammers, forcefully tried to breach the front door. During this tense moment, ChicaLive was engaging in gameplay but decided to investigate the commotion. Her decision to check on the noise led her to confront the intruders directly. She recounted her alarming encounter, stating:
“I got up to check, and that’s when I saw them, inside the house.”
ChicaLive’s Frightening Encounter with Intruders
Describing her terrifying experience, ChicaLive recounted how the intruders aggressively demanded the keys to her vehicles. When she indicated that she didn’t know where the keys were located, one of the assailants became enraged and advanced toward her wielding a hammer:
“Like, we need the keys, give us the keys. At first, I was like, I don’t know where the keys are. Like, I kind of just put my hands up. Um, yeah, the guy did not like that, he started charging at me with the hammer.”
In a bid to safeguard her well-being, ChicaLive ultimately revealed the location of the keys. Following her disclosure, the intruders fled with the keys to several luxury vehicles parked in her driveway. Thankfully, they were thwarted from driving away due to advanced secondary theft prevention features designed to secure the vehicles.
Ultimately, the intruders left with only the car keys, leaving her home otherwise intact. Local authorities have opted not to disclose specific details regarding the security measures in place, prioritizing the ongoing investigation’s integrity.
This incident unfolded shortly after a tragic event involving Japanese IRL streamer Airi Sato, who was stabbed multiple times by an alleged “anti-fan”during a live stream in Tokyo. This alarming trend highlights the escalating dangers that online content creators may face in their personal lives.
