FKA Twigs Cancels Coachella and Tour Dates Due to Visa Complications

FKA Twigs Cancels Live Performances Due to Visa Complications

FKA Twigs has announced that she is unable to fulfill her planned live performances this April due to visa complications. The British singer-songwriter made this unfortunate revelation on her Instagram account on Friday.

In her post, Twigs expressed her devastation over missing out on the chance to perform for her fans. “I’m devastated to share the news that due to ongoing visa issues I am not able to see through any of my scheduled tour dates for the remainder of April across North America, including Ceremonia and Coachella,” she shared alongside a series of photos from her recent Eusexua Tour. She conveyed her deep disappointment, stating, “It pains me to say this because I am so excited to bring you a creation that I have poured my soul into and I believe is amongst my strongest work.”

She acknowledged the impact of her cancellation on fans, noting, “I know this news impacts so many of you that have already made plans and spent money in order to see these shows.” Despite the disappointment, Twigs reassured her supporters that she is actively working on rescheduling the affected concerts. She advised fans to check with their point of purchase for details on refunds and stated, “Back to you all with more updates as soon as I have them.”

This news arrives just as Twigs was set to perform at the AXE Ceremonia festival, with further cancellations affecting her performances at both weekends of Coachella and other dates on her North American tour.

Her recent album, “Eusexua,” which debuted in January, marked a significant milestone for the artist, reaching No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Dance Albums Chart in February, a first for her career. Upon its release, Twigs credited the album for giving her new life, stating, “bringing me back to life.”
