Fisch has unveiled an exciting new event featuring a peculiar hybrid of aquatic creatures and animals. This unusual combination arose from a mishap involving Dr. Glimmerfin’s assistant, Dr. Blackfin, who inadvertently introduced experimental chemicals into the ocean.

The exclusive fish-animal hybrids can only be found in the Animal Pool, which spawns randomly within the game environment. This unique pool can materialize in both the first and second seas, enabling players to start fishing whenever the server-generated event occurs. A notification will prompt you with, “An Animal Pool has spawned near [landmark name]“.

Once you receive the notification, prepare your boat and navigate to the specified location. The Animal Pool will be identifiable by a distinct orange light beam emanating from its center. Keep in mind that each sea has its own unique bestiary, so be sure to fish in both locations to fully complete your collection.

Locating the Octophant Boss

While the majority of the fish associated with the Animal event can be caught in the Animal Pool, the Octophant boss requires the special Octophant Pool to spawn. This pool is exclusively located in the second sea, making it inaccessible for players below level 250.

When the Octophant Pool spawns, players will get a notification saying, “An Elephant Octopus has spawned near [landmark name]“. Upon arrival, you’ll find a large pool with a gigantic elephant in its center, surrounded by a bubble. To unlock access to the Octophant, players need to catch a total of 25 fish from this pool.
