Lacrima serves multiple purposes beyond just leveling up in The First Berserker: Khazan. If you’re eager to leverage its full potential, effective farming techniques, whether through natural game progression or dedicated efforts, are essential.
For players struggling with the game’s toughest bosses or those aiming for quick resources, here are strategic farming suggestions to maximize your Lacrima collection.
Strategies for Farming Lacrima in The First Berserker: Khazan

Similar to traditional Soulslike titles, players can accumulate significant amounts of Lacrima each hour by charting an efficient farming route with minimal risk. A promising route can be found in the Trials of the Frozen Mountain mission within the Charnak Mountain Range.
Head to the Ice Canyon Blade Nexus and engage all available soldiers. These foes are relatively easy to defeat, and a long ladder above the frozen canyon provides a convenient path back to the Blade Nexus, allowing for swift repetition of the route.
Although the mission’s level is fairly accessible, resulting in lower amounts of Lacrima per enemy, numerous alternative paths like this can be found across other missions in the game.
Farming in Skoffa Cave – Poisoned Depths

For a more straightforward and efficient farming option, consider targeting a large enemy located near a Blade Nexus. Start by teleporting to the Poisoned Depths Blade Nexus in the Strange Stench mission. Backtrack through the cave and defeat the giant spider, which yields approximately ~1,960 Lacrima per encounter, and may drop additional random items.
A similar farming opportunity exists in the Escape Linnon Mine mission in Act 3. Just teleport to the Collapsed Cave Entrance and take out the spider positioned across the bridge.
As noted, players should keep an eye on nearby enemies located close to Blade Nexuses throughout various missions for abundant farming chances.
Maximizing Returns with Boss Farming

Engaging in boss farming is often the most effective means of strengthening your character in The First Berserker: Khazan. Not only can players earn substantial Lacrima, but they also gain sets of items, Skill Points, and invaluable combat experience that enhances overall gameplay competence.
This method carries the highest level of risk; while you won’t lose Lacrima, repeated deaths can significantly reduce your Lacrima gain per hour. One effective target is Keshta the Unyielding found in Stormpass; boasting an uncomplicated moveset similar to that of Blade Phantom, he drops the Soul Eater set suitable for all weapon types. Players can earn around ~4,320 Lacrima upon his defeat, which is advantageous for lower-level characters.
If Lacrima accumulation is your primary goal, prioritize farming bosses that match your current skill level to optimize efficiency.
Additionally, remember to surrender excess equipment to Oksana in The Crevice. This not only provides extra Lacrima from gear obtained during your farming endeavors but also allows you to level up older equipment after concluding the Kaleido subquest in Act 2.
