On March 20, 2025, SEVENTEEN’s Wonwoo confirmed that his participation in the 9th fan meeting would mark his last public engagement before he enlists in the military. This fan meeting, part of the SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND series, took place at the Incheon Munhak Main Stadium in South Korea.

PLEDIS Entertainment has announced that Wonwoo’s military service will begin on April 3, 2025. In addition to delivering energetic performances with his fellow group members, he moved fans with the release of his unit track titled “Leftover.”He also hinted at two subsequent song releases planned for after his military service.

“While I’m gone, there will be two new songs released, and right before I go, I prepared a cover song as a tribute to my late mother. I’ll continue to share new music with you; let’s start with ‘Leftover’ now,” he remarked before performing “Leftover.”

During his heartfelt final address, Wonwoo expressed deep appreciation for the unwavering support from fans.

“CARAT LAND is officially my last schedule; while there will still be more filming and live interactions, I promise to go and return well, thanks to your support. I have nothing more to say other than thank you so much, and I love you,” he declared.

This fan meeting solidified Wonwoo’s final official duties before his military enlistment on Thursday, April 3, 2025. While details about his service role remain limited, the agency has confirmed he will be following a similar path as Jeonghan in serving through alternative means.

In addition to his preparations for enlistment, Wonwoo is set to appear on the upcoming variety show “Nana Inn,”produced by Na PD. Filming for the show has already been completed, and it is anticipated to air around SEVENTEEN’s 10th debut anniversary in May.
