Insight into Beomgyu and His Journey with TXT

Choi Beom-gyu, known widely as Beomgyu, is a 24-year-old K-pop idol, singer-songwriter, and producer signed under BIGHIT MUSIC, a subsidiary of HYBE Labels. He made his debut in 2019 alongside his fellow members with the release of their groundbreaking mini-album, The Dream Chapter: STAR.

Since then, TXT has ascended the ranks to become one of the most popular boy groups in the K-pop scene. Their discography includes chart-topping tracks such as 0X1=LOVESONG, Can’t You See Me?, Anti-Romantic, Blue Hour, and Good Boy Gone Bad. Recently, they released their seventh mini-album, The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY, in November 2024.

After announcing a temporary hiatus in December 2024 to allow members to recharge and spend time with loved ones, the group made a triumphant return in February 2025. They officially commenced their world tour, ACT: PROMISE, starting March 7, with a three-day opening show at the Inspire Arena in Incheon.
