The event occurred on March 16 during the first day of aespa’s 2024-25 LIVE TOUR – SYNK: PARALLEL LINE – ENCORE concert held in Seoul, where numerous K-pop idols graced the audience.
In attendance were IVE’s Yujin, Liz, and Leeseo, alongside notable figures such as TWICE’s Nayeon and rapper Lee Young-ji. Following the concert, an emotional Leeseo shared that she had casually expressed a desire to see aespa perform when Yujin asked about her birthday wishes. Her gratitude extended not just to Yujin but also to Karina of aespa for making her dream a reality.

The heartfelt gesture did not go unnoticed, as fans took to social media, particularly on X, to express their admiration for Yujin’s thoughtfulness. One fan likened her to “IVE’s Santa,” recognizing her ability to fulfill wishes with care.
“She’s just like IVE’s Santa, tell her your wishes, she’ll make them come true. Recently, she bought 6 pairs of matching pants for all IVE members, initially she had couple pants with Rei, but all members wanted it too,”a fan said.
“After knowing the fact, these clips are so much more touching than before. I mean, Yujin went to Jiraksil’s filming when Leeseo’s birthday happened, so they couldn’t celebrate together. But yesterday, she took her to the concert as her birthday gift. They’re so precious,”a user wrote.

Recently turning 18 on February 21, 2025, Leeseo, the youngest member of IVE, talked about her experience attending the aespa concert, expressing her deep appreciation for Yujin and Karina.
“Actually, a month ago was my birthday, right? Yujin unnie asked what I wanted as a birthday present. I saw that they would have a concert and said, ‘I want to gooooo’. So I briefly mentioned it to her. Dreams come true! Thank you so much, Karina unnie! Thank you, Yujin unnie!”
