On April 4, 2025, Twitch streamer and music producer Maxwell “Plaqueboymax” abruptly concluded his live broadcast amid a troubling situation involving the Airbnb property he was renting. The incident occurred while he was preparing for the highly anticipated Season 2 of his streaming series, 5$tar House. During the stream, unspecified individuals filed bizarre complaints to the property owners, prompting Maxwell to inform his audience that “haters” were attempting to sabotage his ongoing contract. He expressed concern over the potential suspension of the series due to these disruptions.
This unsettling incident is not an isolated one for Plaqueboymax; he has previously lost two Airbnb accounts due to malicious fake complaints. He fears that if this pattern continues, his ability to collaborate with others via Airbnb will be severely impaired. Following the call for him to vacate, fans are left in suspense, questioning the future of the 5$tar House series.
Concerns Over Law Enforcement Involvement
The uncertainty surrounding Season 2 remains palpable. Sharing insights about the situation, Plaqueboymax disclosed that the Airbnb owners were increasingly frustrated by the influx of complaints from disruptive viewers:
“I don’t know if they were just watching the stream. They started calling the house saying weird stuff. Now the Airbnb owner found out, and her kids happened to be tuned in as well. They’ve been monitoring everything, and their family is threatening to get law enforcement involved to remove us from the property.”
Describing the situation as “cooked,” the streamer expressed his apprehension about the continuity of the 5$tar House series. Notably, this incident marks the second time in 2025 that a streamer has encountered complications at an Airbnb. Earlier this year, rapper Lil TJay sparked controversy by smoking in an apartment rented by Maxwell.

Despite the challenges, Plaqueboymax remains dedicated to his collaborative efforts in music. Recently, he teamed up with actor Will Smith to create a song in a single take. Additionally, he released a new track, “24 Hours,” in collaboration with British artist Central Cee, further showcasing his commitment to creativity.
In related news, fellow streamer Adin Ross has made a comeback to Twitch after a two-year suspension. His return was marked by an exciting announcement of the launch of the Miami 7 soccer team, an endeavor in collaboration with celebrity Jake Paul.
