However, Moira’s groundbreaking discovery fails to impress her superior, Director Francis Banting (Sean T. Krishnan), who reprimands her for her reckless approach. Moira argues that adhering to strict regulations stifles innovation, claiming that delaying progress would hinder advancements that could save lives. Unmoved, Banting promptly fires her, a decision that sets the stage for the chilling events in Episode 14.

However, it seems much more plausible that her fury over the loss of her work will prompt her to unleash the deadly strain and potentially exploit the antiviral for her own survival, resulting in devastating repercussions for the team, including the possibility of Captain Bobby’s demise.
