Paying homage to a quintessential British symbol, the LEGO Ideas Red London Telephone Box celebrates the K2 Telephone Box’s centenary.

Staying true to Giles Gilbert Scott’s winning design of 1924, the LEGO-reimagined K2 booth features a host of authentic elements reminiscent of the original. Like the latter, the LEGO replica is equipped with a domed roof, window panes, a fluted architrave, and decorative moulding. Royal Crown emblems are also present and correct.

However, it’s not only the exterior that features authentic detailing. The interior, too, has a host of neat items. For example, LEGO builders have the option of fitting it with a vintage rotary phone or a 1990s-style phone. In addition, when night falls, you can illuminate the interior with the included LEGO light brick. All you have to do is press down on the roof.

What’s more, this LEGO Ideas kit allows you to recreate the entire scene. It includes a cobbled street, a lamppost, and a fence with a street sign. A cool feature, the set has space for you to put your smartphone.

The kit comprises 1460 bricks. It is sure to provide a rewarding and nostalgic building experience for adults aged 18 and up. The completed build stands 12 inches tall, seven-and-a-half inches wide, and six inches deep. As such, it will look great on display.
