Amazon MGM Studios Shines at CinemaCon with Star-Studded Finale

How do you conclude an illustrious CinemaCon presentation that showcases some of the brightest talents in Hollywood? For Amazon MGM Studios, the answer was a memorable group selfie, capturing the moment with a stellar lineup of stars. The honor of wielding the selfie stick went to Vivica A. Fox, who rallied the stars back to the stage at the Colosseum inside Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, during a dynamic two-hour show that concluded just before 10 p.m.

This occasion marked a significant moment for Amazon MGM Studios, which aimed to celebrate its commitment to the cinematic landscape during a time when theatrical experiences are crucial. The presentation featured a wide array of talent, promoting films that spanned the spectrum from major blockbusters to critically acclaimed dramas. During the event, key executives such as Mike Hopkins, head of Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios, emphasized their dedication to cinema.

Hopkins outlined an ambitious plan to deliver 15 theatrical releases each year by 2027, emphasizing, “When Amazon makes a commitment, we do it big.” Additionally, Courtenay Valenti, along with Sue Kroll, highlighted their vision for a rich and diverse film slate specifically crafted for the big screen. “We’re focusing on a bold variety of genres, including sci-fi, fantasy, action-packed adventures, and heartwarming family films—movies intended for audiences to experience fully and viscerally,” stated Valenti.
