“Elon Musk Calls for Arrests of Tesla Vandalism Funders After Pledging Action with Trump”

Elon Musk’s Strong Stance on Increased Attacks Against Tesla

In recent weeks, Elon Musk has made headlines for addressing a surge in vandalism and protests impacting Tesla dealerships and vehicles across the United States. His call for justice targets the individuals believed to be funding these actions, coinciding with heightened tensions after his appointment to a government role in the wake of President Donald Trump’s 2024 election victory.

Musk’s Role in Government Efficiency and Fallout

As the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Musk aims to tackle rampant government spending, which includes controversial initiatives like substantial federal layoffs. In the aftermath of these policies, several Tesla showrooms and cars have faced vandalism, while peaceful protests against Musk and Tesla continue to unfold across various cities.

The Call for Accountability

On March 30, 2025, Musk shared a video on social media platform X, showcasing protests against Tesla, where demonstrators confronted a driver of the company’s Cybertruck. He captioned the post:

“It is time to arrest those funding the attacks. Arresting their puppets and paid foot-soldiers won’t stop the violence.”

Denouncing the Misleading Narratives

Musk expanded on these sentiments during an interview with Fox News’ Bret Baier on March 28, asserting that both he and Trump are determined to combat those disseminating false narratives against Tesla. He boldly remarked:

“The president has made it clear: We’re going after them. The ones providing the money, the ones pushing the lies and propaganda. We’re going after them.”

The Real Villains Behind the Violence

In the same interview, Musk characterized the real culprits as the individuals promoting anti-Tesla propaganda rather than the protestors themselves. He hinted at a political motivation behind the unrest, implicating Democrats in the alleged orchestration of the attacks:

“The real problem is not the people. It’s not like the crazy guy that firebombs a Tesla dealership. It’s the people pushing the propaganda that cause that guy to do it. Those are the real villains here.”

Musk underscored that Tesla, a company known for its innovative cars and products, should not be the target of violence and unrest, echoing sentiments shared by Trump and the FBI, who labeled these actions as “domestic terrorism.”

Government Officials Weigh In

During a press conference at the Oval Office on March 21, Trump described the aggressors attacking Tesla properties as “terrorists,”drawing comparisons to the January 6 Capitol riots:

“I view these people as terrorists, just like others. When I looked at those showrooms burning and those cars — not one or two, like seven, eight, 10 burning, exploding all over the place. These are terrorists.”

Following these events, FBI Director Kash Patel announced the establishment of a task force to investigate the wave of violent activities targeting Tesla. This decision came on the heels of a disturbing discovery whereby a bomb squad uncovered incendiary devices at a Tesla dealership in Austin.

“The FBI has been investigating the increase in violent activity toward Tesla, and over the last few days, we have taken additional steps to crack down and coordinate our response. This is domestic terrorism. Those responsible will be pursued, caught, and brought to justice.”

Upcoming Protests and Public Sentiment

Despite the federal investigations and the remarkably harsh rhetoric from government leaders, protests were scheduled across nearly 200 Tesla locations in the U.S. and globally on March 29, 2025. Dubbed Tesla Takedown’s Global Day of Action, the initiative sought to rally support against Musk’s governmental actions.

As reported by The Guardian, the protests were primarily aimed at expressing dissent toward Trump’s endorsement of Musk’s policies. Tesla Takedown, a movement defined as a decentralized grassroots organization, stated that their protests would not cease as long as Musk continued his governmental stance, underscoring the ongoing tensions and their impact on Tesla’s stock, which has plummeted 35% since January 2025, accompanied by a 25% decline in Musk’s personal wealth.
