Eliminations Update: Who Has Been Eliminated from Million Dollar Secret So Far?

Insights into Netflix’s Reality Competition: Million Dollar Secret

Million Dollar Secret is an intriguing reality competition series on Netflix, where 12 participants live in a shared environment with the objective of unmasking the individual who secretly holds a million dollars. Each week, contestants cast their votes to eliminate a fellow player they suspect of being the millionaire; if they are wrong, the game progresses.

Launched on March 26, 2025, this gripping series quickly gained attention, with six episodes airing by April 2. So far, the competition has seen the exit of four contestants: Harry, Lauren, Se Young, and Phillip.

The First Eliminations: Harry and Se Young

Harry, a 59-year-old photographer noted for his experience with affluent clients, was the first to be eliminated in episode 2 after receiving multiple votes against him. Despite believing that his talents in connecting with individuals would allow him to fly under the radar, Harry ultimately fell victim to strategic voting.

“I am good at putting people together and at ease, but that could make me an immediate target, too,” he shared pre-competition.

His instincts were validated when during the episode titled The Five Suspects, Lauren exploited her powerful advantage to eliminate him. Following her decision, she reflected on her feelings:

“I’ve been thinking about the elimination dinner. I’m feeling guilt because the lying feels really crappy,” she disclosed after voting Harry out.

Episode 2 also saw Se Young exit the game, with her behavior during group interactions raising red flags among other contestants. Her departure further complicated the dynamics of the group.

Major Revelations Lead to Lauren and Phillip’s Eliminations

During episode 3, post-Se Young’s elimination, contestants learned the shocking news that the million-dollar prize had been transferred to another player. This revelation significantly shifted gameplay strategies.

In a surprising twist, Lauren stepped forward to disclose that she had originally held the million, catching everyone off guard.

“I was trained to pick up on subtle changes in behavior and tone,”Lauren commented during her pre-show interview.

Her revelation prompted players to reconsider her past actions in the game. The subsequent vote resulted in a tie between Lauren and another player, Sydnee, with Phillip breaking the tie by voting Lauren out.

Philip’s fate was sealed in episode 5. The group dissected past rounds, particularly scrutinizing his tie-breaking decisions. Ultimately, he was voted out, confirming that the group had successfully eliminated the active millionaire.

“I’m crying because I’m proud of myself,”Phillip expressed post-elimination.

As the game intensifies, the remaining eight contestants—Sydnee, Samantha, Corey, Cara, Chris, Lydia, Kyle, and Jaimi—are acutely aware of both previous eliminations and the dynamic of money transfers. The suspense mounts as they seek to unveil the identity of the remaining millionaire.

Viewers can anticipate the final two episodes of Million Dollar Secret, set to premiere on April 9, 2025, promising to reveal the ultimate victor of this nail-biting competition.
