In the latest episode of The Challenge All Stars 5: Rivals, which aired on April 2, 2025, the stakes intensified as only five pairs continued their quest for the grand prize of $300,000. The remaining competitor couples included Da’Vonne Rogers teamed with Shane Landrum, Melissa Reeves with Nicole Zanatta, Frank Fox alongside Sam McGinn, Adam Larson paired with Steve Meinke, and lastly, Nany Gonzalez and Turbo.
Episode Highlights: Crucial Challenges and Eliminations
The daily challenge, aptly named Pressure Sandwich, involved navigating a forest obstacle course while holding puzzle pieces. The goal was to gather additional pieces and assemble a puzzle without dropping any outside designated safety zones. Demonstrating remarkable skill, Frank and Sam emerged victorious, claiming the win and securing their safety for the week.
Meanwhile, tension escalated within the house as rival partners Nany and Turbo sought to reclaim their lost star. In a strategic maneuver, Melissa and Nicole opted to challenge Veronica Portillo and Katie Cooley, ultimately winning the elimination round and seizing Nany and Turbo’s star in the process. Nany expressed her frustration at being put in such a difficult position by her competitors.
“I’ve been really nice all season, and I’ve kept it together. But I’m over it,” stated Nany.
The atmosphere grew increasingly fraught as Da’Vonne voiced her concerns regarding Shane’s behavior, labeling him a “villain.”Shane, overhearing the remark, reacted aggressively and even hinted at quitting the competition to undermine Da’Vonne’s chances. Fortunately, Adam, Shane’s ally, intervened before tensions escalated further. After a heartfelt apology from Shane, attributed to the exhaustion of the competition, Da’Vonne eventually accepted his remorse while admitting to her struggles with his volatile demeanor.
As the narrative progressed, the housemates voted to send Nany and Turbo into the elimination round as requested. Frank and Sam strategically selected Adam and Steve to compete against. The elimination challenge, known as Star Bluff, comprised two segments: a quiz segment where teams had to determine if a mystery box contained a star, followed by a physical segment using large sticks to maneuver yoga balls to a safe zone.
With a one-point advantage gained from the quiz, Adam and Steve triumphed in this elimination challenge, marking their fifth victory of the season and leading to the elimination of Nany and Turbo, who became the ninth duo to exit the competition.
