One of the most pivotal elements of Schedule 1 goes beyond merely amassing wealth; it involves decluttering your environment. As players advance in the game and enhance their territories, effectively managing space becomes crucial. A flourishing empire demands ample room for growth and functionality.
This necessity intensifies when players begin automating their farms and enlisting workers in Schedule 1. While the game may not always explicitly instruct players on how to dispose of unnecessary items, the process is uncomplicated and user-friendly. A simple click can clear out unwanted possessions, allowing for a streamlined gameplay experience.
How to Drop Items
Reasons for Dropping Items
To collect an item from the ground, press the “E”key. If you mistakenly picked up an item or wish to relocate it, simply navigate to your desired drop location and click the same key. Utilize the white dot indicator to guide your drop, noting that it can sometimes be slightly misaligned.
Occasionally, when attempting to move an item after picking it up, it may become obstructed by another object in the environment and automatically drop. If you misplace an item, trace your steps back to locate it, checking for any surrounding obstacles that might have caused the drop. Remember, items in your hot bar cannot be dropped directly; they must be stored on a shelf if you wish to remove them from your inventory.
For picking up items that aren’t classified as trash, such as storage shelves, ensure they are completely empty and that you have space in your hot bar. Approach the item and hold down the right mouse button until it is picked up. The round indicator will confirm you are successfully collecting it. Once in your inventory, scroll to the item to determine its new placement.
How to Delete or Remove Items
Eliminating Unwanted Objects
To dispose of an item, such as trash, pick it up using the “E”key (or the equivalent control), then head to a trash can. Hold the item directly above the receptacle and release it using the same button. Be mindful that a full trash can will prevent items from being discarded, leaving them on top. Fortunately, cleanliness is not enforced with punitive measures in the game.
To manage a full trash can, purchase trash bags from the shops to dispose of the contents into one of the dumpsters scattered throughout the map. However, be cautious about what you discard, especially if resources are limited; once an item is thrown away, it is permanently gone.
For disposing of furniture or equipment, place the desired item in a storage container. Interact with the storage, select the item, and you will see a red square on the right side of your hot bar indicating the delete option. Drag and drop anything you intend to remove into this area.
In cases where a valuable item is accidentally deleted, it can often be repurchased from one of the shops, such as Dan’s Hardware. If you find you’ve lost essential seeds in Schedule 1, simply reach out to your supplier to reorder another set.
