Easter Seven-Star Tera Raid Event Unveiled in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Overview of Salamence Tera Raid Event

  • Salamence is the focal point of the upcoming Seven-Star Tera Raid challenge in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
  • This Dragon and Flying-type Pokémon is vulnerable to Electric, Ice, and Rock-type moves.
  • The event is scheduled for April 17 through April 20, with an additional opportunity from April 24 to April 27.

On April 13, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet unveiled an exciting new raid challenge: trainers will be vying against the formidable Salamence the Unrivaled during Easter weekend. For those unable to participate in the initial round, a second chance to face this powerful creature will occur at the end of April.

Salamence, a fan-favorite from the Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire series, stands out as a Dragon and Flying dual-type Pokémon. As the final evolution of Bagon and Shelgon, it is one of the two pseudo-legendary Pokémon from the Hoenn region, alongside Metagross. Renowned for its rapid and diverse strike potential with moves like Dual Wingbeat and Dragon Claw, Salamence is a significant addition to any trainer’s roster. In Pokémon Scarlet, trainers encounter a unique, version-exclusive counterpart named Roaring Moon, while Salamence and its pre-evolutions can be found more abundantly in Pokémon Violet’s wild areas.

Details of Salamence Seven-Star Tera Raid (Easter 2025)

Starting on April 17 at 8:00 PM Eastern, trainers will engage in battles against Salamence, culminating on April 20 at 7:59 PM Eastern. The event’s second phase will operate under the same schedule from April 24 to April 27. Victorious trainers will earn the distinguished Mightiest Mark by defeating Salamence.

Salamence primarily utilizes the Intimidate Ability, which reduces the physical attack power of its opponents. Alternatively, its Hidden Ability, Moxie, enhances Salamence’s attack after it takes down an enemy. However, Salamence’s Flying-type attribute exposes it to weaknesses against Rock, Ice, and Electric-type attacks—making Pokémon like Miraidon, Eelektross, and Zapdos excellent choices for this raid.

With its robust abilities and powerful moves like Dual Wingbeat, Earthquake, and Dragon Claw, Salamence is set to be a challenging adversary for trainers in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. As the event approaches, players are keenly interested in strategizing effective ways to conquer Salamence the Unrivaled.
