Pokémon GO is set to introduce Dynamax Entei to its fanbase in a Max Battle Weekend commencing on April 26, 2025. This event marks the third Dynamax Pokémon from the Johto region to be featured in the game, and it continues to expand the Legendary roster introduced this year.
The game previously welcomed Dynamax Articuno and Dynamax Zapdos during the Legendary Flight event on January 27, 2025, along with Dynamax Moltres shortly thereafter. On March 15, Dynamax Raikou made its appearance, and now players can look forward to battling Dynamax Entei, one of Generation 2’s most formidable Pokémon.
Dynamax Entei: Event Details and Bonuses
The Max Battle Weekend will take place from Saturday, April 26 at 6 AM to Sunday, April 27 at 9 PM local time. During this timeframe, trainers can participate in five-star Max Battles featuring the Legendary Entei, presenting an opportunity to catch a shiny version. Players are also encouraged to engage in battles to gather up to 1,600 Max Particles, with the unique benefit of only needing a quarter of the usual distance to earn these particles. Additionally, Power Spots will refresh more frequently, providing an eightfold increase in Max Particle rewards.

It’s crucial for players to complete the Timed Research before the deadline on April 27 at 9 PM local time in order to claim their rewards. Additionally, a $9.99 Ultra Box containing a Max Mushroom and seven Max Particle Packs will be available in the Pokémon GO Web Store to help enhance player performance during the events.
