The long-awaited sequel to Capcom’s 2012 effort of the same name, hype is building ahead of the arrival of Dragon’s Dogma 2. The game’s open-world and frantic combat have drawn speculative praise, with the full release scheduled for March 22.
Ahead of that, the developer has allowed players to access its impressively deep character creator. This has led to some weird and wonderful creations from real-world people to entirely fictional characters.
Now, many players are sharing their work on social media, from the utterly brilliant to the downright bizarre.
Thanos and Harry Potter are now canon in Dragon’s Dogma 2
In a post on Reddit, one user shared their remarkable recreation of Thanos. In it, they have managed to capture his impressively square jaw and chin lines.

Thanos isn’t the only famous character that players have managed to recreate. Leonardo DiCaprio’s character in Tarantino’s lauded Once Upon A Time In Hollywood has also appeared on the subreddit, alongside boy wizard Harry Potter.

The character creation scene has grown so much in recent days, that there is now an entire subreddit dedicated to them specifically. The Fashion Dogma page has some incredible work, including another Marvel favorite in Drax the Destroyer and a brilliant recreation of Baldur’s Gate 3’s Lae’zel.
Undoubtedly the most disturbing of the characters shared so far is Winnie the Pooh, who looks unwelcome in any game.
These creations are a testament to the impressive power of Dragon’s Dogma 2’s character creator. The creator can be downloaded via Steam for free, and it’s a fun way to spend an hour or two before the game’s release.
If the character creator is anything to go by, then Dragon’s Dogma 2 should be a lot of fun. With a world four times the size and deeper RPG elements, an improvement on the original looks likely.
