He encouraged her to view her role not just as part of a massive franchise, but as an individual character journey within a shared universe. “He mentioned that actors can experience ‘altitude sickness,’ where the fun of acting becomes overwhelming,” she noted.
A Unique Dynamic with the Doctor
Returning to our screens on April 12 and airing on BBC and Disney+, these new episodes promise an exciting adventure as the Doctor and nurse Belinda Chandra, played by Sethu, embark on a quest to return her home. Millie Gibson will also reprise her role as Ruby Sunday.
Describing her character Belinda, Sethu remarked, “She’s wrapped up in his world but longs to return to her normal life. Unlike many characters, she’s not afraid to challenge the Doctor.
