“Doctor Slump” released photos from the script reading featuring the cast that has created a perfect synergy from the start
The script reading included director Oh Hyun-jong, writer Baek Sun-woo as well as the cast of Park Hyung-sik, Park Shin-hye, Yoon Park, Kong Seong-ha, Jang Hye-jin, Hyun Bong-sik, Yoon Sang-hyun, Oh Dong-min, Park Won-ho, Kang Sang-joon and Jung Ji-soon. The chemistry between Park Hyung-sik and Park Shin-hye, who reunited for the first time in 10 years since “The Heirs” , was perfect. Park Hyung-sik, playing the role of Yeo Jeong-woo, a plastic surgeon who was popular but suffered from a medical accident, showcased another transformation in his acting career. From his days as the top student in school to becoming a star doctor with both skill and personality, Yeo Jeong-woo walked a flower path. However, due to a mysterious medical accident, he falls into the abyss of life in a moment, revealing a dynamic emotional range.
Park Shin-hye, playing the role of Nam Ha-neul, a doctor who runs out of the hospital after being burned by a medical professor, returned to the romantic comedy genre. Nam Ha-neul, who went crazy for studying during her school days and continued to be obsessed with her work even after becoming a doctor, brings about a realistic sympathy.
