Frustrations Arise from Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Spring Eggstravaganza Event
The ongoing Spring Eggstravaganza in Disney Dreamlight Valley has sparked discontent among players, particularly regarding the challenges of locating hidden eggs. This annual event invites fans to gather collectible eggs while crafting delightful Spring-themed decor throughout their virtual Valleys. This year’s festivities introduce an elusive purple egg along with various new craftable items. However, the quest for sufficient eggs has proven to be somewhat daunting for many participants.
The Challenge of Spotting the New Purple Egg
Among the various eggs, players find some, such as pink (Egg-cellent Fruit) and yellow (Spring V-egg-etables) eggs, relatively straightforward to collect as they remain stationary on bushes and plants. In contrast, the blue (Wild Spring Eggs) and newly introduced purple eggs are scattered across the Valley and within its Realms, increasing the difficulty of gathering them. Blue eggs can appear anywhere, but players should specifically search in the Moana, Toy Story, Lion King, Beauty and Beast, and Mulan Realms for the purple eggs.
Players have taken to social media to share images highlighting the frustrating challenge of locating these tiny eggs. User lolihull documents how some eggs camouflage perfectly within their environments, rendering them nearly invisible. There are also many instances of “not-eggs”that mislead players—shiny embellishments that mimic the eggs’ appearance, creating further confusion. One Redditor, Nym_Nightingale, expressed frustration over the constant nighttime in some game areas, which adds to the difficulty of egg hunting.

Desire for Improvements in Egg Collecting
Moreover, there have been calls for making eggs more visible. For instance, Redditor AccountantTerrible7 proposed that the eggs should shimmer or glow similar to the clovers from the recent Lucky You event, which provided much-needed visual cues for collectors.
As the Eggstravaganza event is set to run until April 22, it offers players a few more weeks to embark on their egg-hunting adventures, hopefully making it possible to gather enough eggs for their coveted animated furnishings despite the hurdles encountered along the way.
