Disney Dreamlight Valley: Complete Guide to Egg Locations and Respawn Schedule for the Eggstravaganza Event

The highly anticipated Disney Dreamlight Valley Eggstravaganza has returned, infusing the game with cheerful spring vibes and an engaging egg hunt adventure. As a beloved cozy life simulation, Dreamlight Valley is known for its seasonal celebrations, and the annual egg hunt is particularly special for fans due to its delightful pastel hues and charming egg-themed decorations. This marks the third annual Eggstravaganza, continuing a tradition that began with the game’s launch.

This year, the event has introduced an exciting addition: a new purple egg along with fresh crafting decoration options. However, access to the purple egg will be limited as it can only be found in select realms. Mark your calendars! The Eggstravaganza runs from April 2 to April 22, offering players an opportunity to cultivate, uncover, and collect a variety of eggs for their baskets, as well as to create themed decorations for the spring season.

To fully enjoy this limited-time event, familiarizing yourself with the locations of all egg types is essential. There are four distinct varieties of eggs to discover during the 2025 Eggstravaganza:

  • Egg-cellent Fruits (pink eggs) are harvested from three Egg Fruit bushes located in the Valley Plaza.
  • Spring V-egg-etables (yellow eggs) can be harvested from plants created by crafting.
  • Wild Spring Eggs (blue eggs) appear randomly throughout the Valley.
  • Purple Eggs can be found randomly in the Moana, Toy Story, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, and Mulan realms.

Within the Valley Plaza, the three Egg Fruit bushes will generate Egg-cellent Fruit. Once discovered, you can relocate these bushes to areas of your Valley that suit your aesthetic preferences.

For easier access to finding Egg Fruit bushes, you can utilize the Valley Decor mode, providing a comprehensive overhead view of the Plaza without needing to traverse the area on foot.

The Spring V-egg-etable plants yield another type of egg when harvested. You can craft the seeds for these plants with 25 Egg-cellent Fruits, 1 Wild Spring Egg, and 20 Dreamlight. After planting, remember to water them to facilitate growth. Once harvested, the plant will be removed, requiring new seeds to be crafted for continued egg collection.

All eggs collected during the event can substitute for regular eggs in various recipes, making them valuable to gather, even if you don’t intend to craft the limited-edition decoration items.

Wild Spring Eggs appear randomly within the Valley, while the Purple Eggs are confined to specific realms. New players may want to unlock the Moana realm early to gain access to the coveted Purple Eggs. Keep in mind that Wild Spring Eggs can spawn across any unlocked biomes, so try exploring beyond just the primary Valley areas if you’re having trouble locating eggs.

During the Eggstravaganza event in Dreamlight Valley, each egg type has determined spawn rates and a cap on the total number present in the Valley at any time. Here’s a breakdown of their respawn rates:

  • Every 30 minutes, 3 Egg-cellent Fruits are available from each of the three bushes.
  • After watering, 1 Spring V-egg-etable can spawn in 30 minutes (or 15 minutes with double watering).
  • A maximum of 10 Wild Spring Eggs can appear across all Valley biomes, respawning every 30 minutes.
  • Within the Moana, Toy Story, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, and Mulan realms, only 10 Purple Eggs are obtainable, respawning every 5 minutes.

Keep in mind that if you don’t find any Purple Eggs initially, consider switching realms to increase your chances.

Additionally, players can boost their rewards through WALL-E’s daily and weekly quests throughout the event. Gathered eggs can be transformed into whimsical spring-themed decorative pieces, including a charming egg-shaped chair, an egg-arch, or a potted egg tree to keep the spirit of the Eggstravaganza alive in your Valley year-round. Remember, the event lasts for only three weeks, after which these lively eggs will disappear from Disney Dreamlight Valley until next spring.
