Disney+ has officially announced the renewal of its thrilling Korean action drama A Shop for Killers for a second season, much to the delight of its growing fanbase.
About the Series
A Shop for Killers, adapted from the novel of the same name by Kang Ji-young, centers around the gripping journey of Ji-an, a woman who was raised by her enigmatic uncle, a skilled mercenary. Following her uncle’s mysterious death, Ji-an finds herself in control of his perilous weapons shop while simultaneously facing a slew of adversaries. The narrative expertly intertwines her present-day struggles with haunting flashbacks that unveil her uncle’s dark and violent history.
Returning Cast and New Additions
The anticipated second season will bring back beloved Korean actors Lee Dongwook, known for his roles in Guardian: The Lonely and Great God and Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938, and Kim Hyejun, celebrated for her performances in Connect and Kingdom. Excitingly, the cast will also welcome the talents of Japanese actors Masaki Okada from Drive My Car and Hyunri from Pachinko.
