As reported by PR Newswire, the Mashed Potato Poppers, also known as “Mashies”in Australia, have gained popularity in the land down under. KFC had previously revived this dish in 2023 after a decade-long absence, and now it’s ready to bring that flavor to the United States.

In addition to the Mashed Potato Poppers, KFC is also launching “The Dunk It Bucket,”its first new bucket offering in nearly ten years. Coinciding with March Madness, this bucket is designed for butter-lovers and dipping enthusiasts, and it will come in two sizes to cater to diverse appetites.
According to Tan-Gillespie, the Dunk It Bucket is truly a dream come true for sauce aficionados:

The Dunk It Bucket will be available for a limited time starting March 17, with a price point beginning at $7 for a meal that includes two Original Recipe Tenders, five Mashed Potato Poppers, Secret Recipe Fries, and three selection-based dipping sauces. The $25 option offers a full feast with 10 Original Recipe Tenders, extra fries and poppers, four biscuits, and an array of sauces to choose from, including Comeback Sauce and Buffalo Ranch.
Additionally, to celebrate the excitement surrounding March Madness, KFC will introduce an exclusive “KFC Dunk It”merchandise line, available on their official shop website.
