Exclusive Preview of M3GAN 2.0 at CinemaCon
During the recent CinemaCon event in Las Vegas, ScreenRant had the opportunity to witness Blumhouse’s unveiling of new footage from M3GAN 2.0. The presentation was part of Universal’s showcase, and here is an overview of what was revealed, as this footage is currently unavailable online:
The teaser opens with a montage from the previous installment, revisiting key moments from the first movie. Following this, we see M3GAN waking up in a peculiar setting resembling a Teletubby. Gemma explains that they have reactivated her in that body until they can fully trust her once more.
In the midst of escalating drama, a new robotic entity named Amelia emerges. Engineered based on M3GAN’s design, Amelia poses a significant threat, having turned rogue and targeting everyone involved in her creation. This latest twist places Gemma and Cody directly in her sights. To combat this new adversary, M3GAN persuades Gemma to reconstruct her original body, enhancing it to be more powerful, agile, and imposing.
In an exciting sequence, M3GAN takes to the skies using a wingsuit. The teaser features an array of action-packed scenes showcasing intense confrontations between M3GAN and Amelia, punctuated by M3GAN’s signature humor. One memorable line delivered by M3GAN declares, “Hold on to your vaginas.” In another bold moment, she quips, “I’ll make you a deal. You can kill Gemma, but don’t touch Cody.”
