Destiny and Dan Saltman Allege Mizkif’s Twitch Channel May Be Viewbotted

A recent discussion involving political commentators Steven “Destiny”and Dan Saltman about Twitch streamer Matthew “Mizkif”has sparked significant buzz on social media since its release on April 10, 2025. The conversation centers on the controversial topic of viewbotting—an unethical practice wherein a channel’s viewership numbers are artificially inflated to create the illusion of a larger audience.

During their dialogue, Saltman analyzed Mizkif’s Twitch streaming statistics from the previous year, suggesting that his channel may have fallen victim to viewbotting. Initially, Saltman implied that Mizkif could be behind this manipulation but later conceded the possibility that external factors may be at play. Destiny added to the conversation, indicating that the circumstances could indeed be beyond Mizkif’s control.

“I’m going to say it, Mizkif’s viewbotting, in my opinion. And not even that good. Actually, let me take a step back. It may not be Mizkif that is viewbotting, someone else might be doing it to him. That’s totally possible, might be outside his control.”

Saltman ultimately concluded that the data presented indeed suggested the likelihood of viewbotting occurring:

“It looks that way, at least, from this data. Right?”

Historical Context of Viewbotting Allegations Against Mizkif

Accusations surrounding viewbotting are not novel, particularly against prominent streamers on platforms like Twitch and Kick. Recently, content creator QueenGloriaRP drew attention after revealing an application designed for viewbotting during her broadcast on March 18, 2025.

Despite her claims of merely demonstrating curiosity towards the app, QueenGloriaRP faced a ban and voiced her outrage over the existence of such technologies, which seemingly allow anyone to deploy viewbots against any channel. In her remarks addressing the issue, she stated:

“The question is, HOW IS IT THAT EASY FOR PEOPLE TO VIEWBOT OTHERS AND INCRIMINATE THEM? That is f**ked up. The streamer should have to at least prove that the account they want to bot belongs to them.”

Notably, the latest claims regarding Mizkif’s potential viewbotting are not his first encounter with this controversy. Previously, he confronted similar allegations live on stream a few years back. A viral clip from 2023 showcased his sarcastic response to those supposedly targeting his channel with bots:

“Whoever is doing this to me and thinks that I hate this, you know I love this, right? You think I care? (In a sarcastic tone) ‘Oh, no!'”

In other recent developments, Mizkif has attracted criticism for a separate incident involving pull-ups on a Sakura tree in Japan, leading him to issue an apology for what many deemed a disrespectful act towards the local community.
