Dating back to the original Destiny, Iron Banner has been an important part of The Crucible for several years. Only showing up a few types a season the limited-time PvP playlist offers guardians something a little different.
Not only are there unique rewards to gather but Iron Banner also has exclusive game modes that can’t be found elsewhere. Therefore you won’t want to miss the weeks when it’s live.
To make sure that doesn’t happen, we’ve covered you with this schedule detailing when Iron Banner will next go live in Destiny 2.

Lord Saladin has a new quest (and rewards) for players.
When is the next Iron Banner event?
Bungie has revealed that Iron Banner will next return on January 23, 2024, and will stay live until the weekly reset on January 30, 2024.
Season of the Wish’s previous Iron Banner took place from January 2, 2024, until January 9, 2024. The upcoming event is the last scheduled for Season 23 but given the season’s unusual length more are expected to come.
What is Iron Banner?
Iron Banner is a PvP game mode that only appears three times each season. Each week offers either a unique twist on an existing Crucible game mode or a unique mode exclusive to Iron Banner.
Gaining reputation in Iron Banner differs from other modes with additional rank points earned as you play more games as well as having both Iron Banner gear equipped and the Iron Banner emblem active.
