The DANDADAN first season is now available on Blu-ray, featuring a stylish dual-disc Collector’s Edition that captures the whimsical essence of the series. Adorned with two golden discs, this release humorously nods to the main storyline centered around Ken “Okarun”Takakura’s search for missing parts. The case beautifully showcases a silhouette of Okarun in his Turbo Granny guise against a crisp white backdrop.

The Standard edition of the DANDADAN Season 1 Blu-ray is comprehensive, featuring a 2-disc set that includes all episodes from the first season along with engaging bonus features. Extras include interviews with the creative team, commemorative interviews, a detailed director’s scene breakdown, contributions from series composer Kensuke Ushio, as well as all promotional teasers, trailers, and the opening and ending credits.

DANDADAN Season 1 was a massive success, airing 12 episodes from October to December 2024, and quickly became a standout title in the anime community that year. Produced by the acclaimed staff at Science SARU, known for their work on Scott Pilgrim Takes Off and an upcoming Ghost in the Shell adaptation, the series features the talents of director Fūga Yamashiro, series composition by Hiroshi Seko, and character designs by Naoyuki Onda. The beloved voices of Natsuki Hanae as Okarun and Shion Wakayama as Momo brought these characters to life.
