Navigating the Lost Honor Main Quest
Initiating the Lost Honor Quest

To kick off the Lost Honor quest, players must seek out Isa Sadatame within the Byudoin Temple area. Utilize the quest objective marker for assistance in locating him. Once you engage in conversation, select the “Let’s Go”option to move forward in the quest. If you prefer to delay, feel free to opt out of conversation; Yasuke will later join in a cutscene where Sadatame reveals his intentions.
Playing as Yasuke

Your adventure begins in the Lost Honor quest as Yasuke, where you are approached by two guards demanding you leave. You can confront them; regardless of your choice, the encounter will end with combat. Once you’ve dispatched these foes, proceed towards the first gate where another guard awaits an ambush from the left.

Take down this guard and break through the wooden gate. As you advance, be prepared to face two additional enemies, followed by three more after ascending some stairs. Be alert, as an armored guard will join the battle once one of the initial foes is defeated. Eliminate this group before moving toward your next opponent.
Switching to Naoe

After successfully completing the Yasuke section, control shifts to Naoe. Head straight onto a rope and through a wall opening, remaining vigilant as enemies populate the area ahead. Begin by assassinating the nearest guard, then ascend onto the roof of the adjacent building using your grappling hook.
Navigate to the eastern corner wall and continue climbing to the edge of the southern building. Jump into the thatched-roof house, while being cautious of an enemy below. Utilize the corner wall for cover and then scale the structure, jumping onto a wooden pole and ascending the wall.

In the next area, carefully approach while using the tall grass for concealment. Listen for the guard near the light at the start; if you move stealthily from the left, you can evade detection. Head towards the southeast scaffolding after descending a set of stairs, where you’ll find bamboo to help you climb to the rooftop of another building.
Once on the roof, stealthily drop down and ascend the stairs. Naoe will recognize this as the essential gate to enter. Instead of directly going through the doors, grapple to the roof above. From here, you can either eliminate the guard quietly or stealthily approach the gate to open it, concluding this segment of the Lost Honor main quest.
Safeguarding Sadatame

Once again, you will control Yasuke. Break down the door and confront a group of four henchmen, one of whom is armored. After defeating them, proceed up the stairs on the northwest side to face another two foes, one ranged and the other melee. Ascend the stairs on your left and push open the gate.
This leads to a cutscene where Sadatame meets Sadaoki, introducing an unexpected twist as a third party intervenes. At this point, Sadaoki commands his guards to attack. Players can choose to fight as either Yasuke or Naoe, but Yasuke is recommended for this encounter. Sadaoki will join the fray with his guards, so eliminate them first to concentrate on the boss.

The boss fight follows a familiar strategy, requiring players to effectively use dodge and parry mechanics while focusing on depleting Sadaoki’s health bar. Be aware that you must first eliminate his armor before you can do any real damage.

Upon defeating Sadaoki, Gennojo will make an appearance. Here, players have the choice to initiate a romantic arc with Gennojo for Naoe by selecting “You might be right.” Alternatively, you can opt for the second option to remain neutral. After confirming Sadatame’s condition, the Lost Honor quest in Assassin’s Creed: Shadows draws to a close.
