How to Complete the “Honor Among Thieves”Quest
1) Initiating Your Quest
To begin, access the Objectives Board and navigate to The League section. Select “Honor Among Thieves”under Gennojo’s missions to set the quest in motion. The quest marker will direct you to the Yamashiro region, located in the northwest corner of Kyoto, just near the Kubo Sama Old Residence which is situated west of Northern Kyoto Kakurega and the Shokokuji Temple.
2) Meeting Gennojo
Upon reaching the designated area, you’ll be greeted by Gennojo who awaits your arrival outside the Kubo Sama Old Residence. Engaging in dialogue, Gennojo will request your assistance to acquire a vital scroll hidden within the estate, updating your mission objectives accordingly.
3) Acquiring the Scroll
The next step involves infiltrating the well-guarded Kubo Sama Old Residence. Employing a stealthy strategy is recommended for this part of the quest.
Proceed to the northern side of the estate. Locate the gate in the northwest corner, and then climb the adjacent wall to traverse the wooden beams. From there, leap over the wall ahead, where you will notice two guards stationed near a covered walkway next to the main structure.
Drop down stealthily onto the walkway and crouch to blend in. Move quickly towards the second door on the left—this door conceals your scroll, officially named “A Map of Yamashiro.”Upon retrieving the scroll, carefully exit the estate without raising an alarm. Although you can opt for direct combat, maintaining stealth is usually the more effective choice.
4) Returning to Gennojo
After successfully obtaining the scroll, make your way back to Gennojo. During your conversation with him, two various sets of dialogue options will become available.
First set:
- This is serious.
- I’m keeping it, then. (Romance option)
Opting for the romance choice will increase Gennojo’s favorability but will not influence the outcome of the quest.
Second set:
- I’m all in.
- I’m not making any promises.
