Completing the Absolver Task in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
Your journey begins in Miskowitz Town at the local blacksmith, who will direct you to Thomas of Kolin. You’ll need to search for him within Sigismund’s camp located in Kuttenberg. Keep in mind that Thomas is quite mobile and does not remain in one spot for long.
Locating Basan’s Sword
- Start your quest by locating the tournament ring, situated to the east of the game map.
- From there, look to your left to discover a white and green tent.
- Inside the tent, you’ll find a locked chest. Make sure to have lockpicks on hand, as it’s secured with a medium-level lock. Be cautious to avoid detection during this part of the task.
- Once you’ve unlocked the chest, retrieve the Longsword Absolver and make your way back to the blacksmith.
Replicating Basan’s Sword
To recreate the Absolver Sword, head over to the blacksmith station found on the western side of the map. Gather the following materials needed for replication:
- 1x Deer Skin
- 1x Eight-sided sword pommel
- 1x Horned sword guard
- 2x Frankfurt Steel
- 2x Iron
Most of these components can be acquired from the blacksmith, while the Deer Skin can be purchased from the nearby Armorsmith. Once you have all the necessary materials, you can proceed with the replication process and create the Replica of the Longsword Absolver.
Upon successfully replicating the sword, you will have several options regarding its fate:
- Return to Basan’s chest.
- Place the replica of the Absolver in Basan’s chest.
- Present the Absolver to Thomas.
Upon completing the quest and choosing to give the Longsword Absolver to Thomas of Kolin, you will be rewarded with 600 Groschen, adding a significant sum to your inventory.
