To access the A Promise quest, navigate to the Templar target section in the game’s objective tab. Following the events of The Silver Queen, Hosokawa Tama assures Yasuke of Nuno Caro’s whereabouts if he rescues her little brother, who has been captured at Kameyama Castle in Tamba.
Reaching Kameyama Castle and Finding Mitsuyoshi
Once you begin the quest, you will receive several key clues to locate Akechi Mitsuyoshi:
- He is located in Tamba.
- He can be found in Kameyama Castle.
- He is near the tenshu, an important part of the castle.
Head north to the Kameyama sub-region, which lies above the Silver Lands. Enter the castle through its western entrance. Notably, Yasuke can navigate to the required area without engaging in direct combat.
Proceed silently up the castle stairs, cross the gate, and climb onto the boxes to enter through an open window. Once you reach the upper area and enter the left-side house, you will encounter Mitsuyoshi’s servant, who lies on the ground.
The servant will inform you that Mitsuyoshi is imprisoned beneath the tenshu and will provide a stolen key to reach him. Navigate southeast and stealthily bypass the guards to reach the tower. Use the key to unlock the tenshu and rescue Akechi Mitsuyoshi.
Defending Mitsuyoshi from Enemies
After rescuing Mitsuyoshi, Yasuke must ensure his safety as they make their way out of the castle. Throughout this segment, Mitsuyoshi will halt at two locations where you are required to defeat enemy forces to advance.
