This mission begins with a quest to locate Miko at Junisho Shrine, situated south of Himeji. Players will find her pacing at the shrine’s western edge. However, Miko is not just an ordinary priestess; she has assumed the guise of a shinobi.
Engaging the Shinobi
Upon her revelation, the shinobi will attack. Fortunately, her combat style is rather predictable. She primarily relies on basic attacks, with one heavy strike that can be easily blocked and countered. Players should find this battle manageable, even when using Naoe.
Finding Ukita Hideie
Once the shinobi is dealt with, head southeast toward Itatehyozu Shrine, where Ukita Hideie is being kept. He can be found in the northeast corner of the shrine, and interacting with him will open up a dialogue featuring the following options:
- Loyalty
- Regret
- I don’t remember
Choose freely, as your selection does not influence the outcome of the quest.
Accompanying Ukita Hideie
After your initial conversation, follow Ukita as he makes his way south. He will pause near a priest, prompting you to engage with that character. Ukita will then continue west and spot his father. Approaching them will trigger another dialogue choice:

Once again, your response won’t alter the progression of the mission.
