These options do not affect the outcome of the quest, allowing you the freedom to select either one at your discretion.
Confronting the Phony Merchants
From here, head south towards the Port of Aga, where you will encounter some fraudulent merchants. You have two approaches to choose from:
- Eliminate them swiftly – Engage immediately, skipping any dialogues.
- Initiate conversation first – Engage in dialogue before combat.
If you decide to engage in battle, ensure you dispatch them before proceeding.
Uncovering Clues about the Shipment
Your next task is to gather three significant clues related to an important shipment. Travel west to the Aga Hontokuji Temple, where stealth will be essential.
Clue 1
Secure the initial building before heading to a smaller structure located just to its south. You will encounter a guard at the entrance—silently take him down to claim your first clue, which is found in an open box containing incense and gunpowder.
Clue 2
To obtain the second clue, enter the temple grounds through the southern gate. Exercise caution, as guards are stationed nearby. One guard lurks just inside the entrance—neutralize him before heading into the main temple building, where the clue—a crucial map—awaits you straight ahead.
Clue 3
For the final clue, direct your attention to the building on the left. The eastern side teems with guards; therefore, opt for the safer entrance on the west. After eliminating the lone guard outside, proceed inside to confront a man seated at the center of the room. Defeat him and pick up the paper located beside him.
Returning to Konishi Yukinaga
