Situated across a series of courtyards and islands, Nagahama Castle presents a unique challenge. Locations of the Nagahama Castle Samurai Daishos
1. Northern Bridge – First Samurai Daisho
To find the first Samurai Daisho, approach Nagahama Castle from the northern area and sidestep the main entrance. Look for a small boat near a damaged wall to assist your climb. Once inside, navigate along the northern edge, moving east until you spot a bridge that leads south into the mainland. Your target is located here.
To eliminate him quietly, follow this order for dispatching the guards:
- Disarm the guard on the balcony to the southwest.
- Remove the guard stationed on the ground level directly beneath.
- Take out the guard patrolling near the water.
After clearing the area, proceed to eliminate the first Daisho.
2. Large Courtyard – Second Samurai Daisho
Next, head eastward to the expansive courtyard adjacent to the water, where you’ll find the second Samurai Daisho. Stick to the northern wall while eliminating the two guards in this vicinity. Ascend to the guard tower for a better overview of the area.
The Daisho patrols outside the courtyard and becomes vulnerable once he strays from his usual path. Wait until he is away, then dispatch the last guard before taking out the second Daisho upon his return.
3. Northwestern Tower – Third Samurai Daisho
Your next target is located in the large tower at the northwest part of the southern island. To access him, you’ll need to clear out several guards at the entrance.
A strategic approach is to use Shinobi Bells to lure the guards. If two enemies are grouped together, perform a double assassination to maintain stealth. Once it’s safe, track down and eliminate the Daisho swiftly.
4. Central Courtyard – Fourth Samurai Daisho
The final Samurai Daisho resides in a small courtyard surrounded by water at the northwest corner of the castle. To reach him, swim across the water and use the rocky terrain for cover as you circle from the west.
Approach stealthily, taking out each guard one by one. When you’re near, assassinate the Daisho while he is meditating, ensuring he doesn’t have a chance to react.
With all four Samurai Daishos defeated, you’re ready to claim your rewards.
