Crimson Forest Location in Expedition 33
To access the Crimson Forest, head northwest from the Crushing Cavern, adjacent to the Endless Tower. It’s imperative to first unlock Esquie’s flying ability to reach this location. For optimal success, players should aim for at least level 50 before tackling the challenges within the forest and facing the imposing boss.
Crimson Forest Collectibles in Expedition 33
Chroma
Upon entering the Crimson Forest, proceed straight ahead and leap across the platforms to reach a ledge. Turn left and descend via the hooks to discover some Chroma collectibles.
Starting Expedition Flag

Continue exploring to locate the first expedition flag, known as Crimson Perch. Look upwards to observe a shortcut that will become accessible later on to your left, and a rope leading down on your right. Navigate down and crawl through the narrow opening on the right to uncover more Chroma.

Utilize the second rope to descend further and continue straight to your right, where you can locate additional collectibles.
First Chevaliere Sword Statue Location
Return to the earlier area where you will find two diverging paths. The left path leads towards a boss and a sword statue, but you must first activate the initial two statues to be able to summon the boss effectively. Interact with the first sword statue to cause colors to fade and summon enemies in the Crimson Forest. Proceed left to locate the second statue, eliminating foes as they may drop useful items.
Unlocking Shortcuts
Unlock the shortcut and take the opportunity to rest at the Crimson Perch if needed.
Resplendent Chroma Catalyst
Once prepared, venture back to jump down and reach the second sword statue. Don’t forget to collect the nearby Resplendent Chroma Catalyst during your journey.
Second Chevaliere Sword Statue Location

Upon interacting with the boss area and confirming with Yes, the formidable Chromatic Gold Chevaliere will emerge, accompanied by a Clair and an Obscur. These allies primarily serve to reinforce the boss while debuffing your team, as the Chromatic Gold Chevaliere delivers formidable fire and ice damage on top of that.
Chevalam Weapon
Defeating the Chromatic Gold Chevaliere grants players two chroma and five resplendent chroma catalysts. Collect the valuable weapon known as Chevalam from the waters as a conclusion to your adventure in the Crimson Forest. With this, the objectives here are complete, and players can move on to explore new territories.
