The Shattered Veil stands out as the largest map introduced in Black Ops 6 Zombies, immersing players in the highly anticipated mansion hinted at in the Liberty Falls cutscene that preceded the game’s launch. This expansive setting not only enhances gameplay but also intertwines with the game’s narrative, creating an intriguing experience for all players.
In classic Zombies fashion, Shattered Veil is more than just a thrilling primary quest; it brims with numerous side Easter Eggs and enigmatic secrets waiting to be discovered. Each of these Easter Eggs offers unique challenges and exciting rewards. Below, we present a comprehensive overview of all known Easter Eggs in Shattered Veil for Black Ops 6 Zombies.
Main Easter Egg Quest

Entering the Shattered Veil, players embark on another Main Easter Egg Quest, where they encounter S.A.M. Their objective is to energize the Sentinel Artifact discovered in The Tomb, all in an effort to save Samantha Maxis from the clutches of the Dark Aether. However, players should prepare for unexpected twists and turns throughout this intricate adventure.
With numerous challenging tasks, elusive quest items, and secret locations to find, completing the Easter Egg Quest can be quite a formidable challenge.
Acquiring The Ray Gun Mark II & Ray Gun Mark II Variants

Securing the Ray Gun Mark II and its various upgrades is essential within the Shattered Veil’s exciting landscape. The pathway to obtain this iconic weapon is intricate, allowing players to view it as a mini Easter Egg in its own right. While players can access a free Ray Gun Mark II from the Armory, they must first locate a severed hand to open the case housing the weapon.
In addition to just claiming the Ray Gun Mark II, players are tasked with unlocking powerful Ray Gun Mark II Variants that are crucial for completing trials in the Liminal Spaces found within the mansion. These upgrades include the Ray Gun Mark II-W, Ray Gun Mark II-R, and Ray Gun Mark II-P. For a detailed, step-by-step guide on unlocking each variant, check out our comprehensive walkthrough.
Free Wunderwaffe DG-2 Easter Egg

In addition to the Ray Gun Mark II, the Wunderwaffe DG-2 makes a triumphant return in Shattered Veil. While it’s not essential for completing the Main Quest, players can bypass reliance on the Mystery Box entirely by accomplishing a side Easter Egg dedicated to this powerful weapon.
To unlock the Wunderwaffe, players must first secure a Ray Gun Variant, advance through part of the Main Quest, and gather a series of everyday items, each associated with a unique ritual.
Free Power-Ups

In Black Ops 6 Zombies, players can consistently expect numerous free power-ups scattered throughout each map. Shattered Veil features a total of eight power-ups, carefully hidden across various locations, with the final power-up becoming available only after the collection of all previous ones.
S.A.M. Trap Easter Egg

This unique Easter Egg transforms S.A.M., the AI companion that has guided players through previous maps, into a powerful laser trap. To complete this task, players must reboot three computers located throughout the map and retrieve a floppy disk. After collecting the disk, players must return it to the computer in the Security Overlook to activate S.A.M. as a formidable laser trap.
Shattered Veil Music Easter Egg

In keeping with tradition, The Shattered Veil includes a secret Easter Egg Song that players can activate by locating three pairs of Mr. Peeks Headphones. Once all three pairs are acquired and interacted with, the hauntingly beautiful track “Falling to Pieces”by Kevin Sherwood (featuring Malukah) will play, adding an atmospheric layer to the game.
Mr. Peeks Easter Egg (Pet Donut)

Beyond the Shattered Veil Music Easter Egg, players can also gather pieces to construct a charming toy named Mr. Peeks, which facilitates the summoning of a pet Vermin called Donut. To complete this quest, players must locate six distinct parts of Mr. Peeks scattered across the map and assemble them in the Motor Court. Once the assembly is complete, Donut, the lovable Vermin, will aid players in combat, evolving into formidable creatures including a Parasite and ultimately a Doppelghast.
Jumpscare Easter Egg

Similar to The Tomb, Shattered Veil also harbors its own Jumpscare Easter Egg, which rewards players with an array of loot. To activate this feature, players should reach round 13 and utilize a Thermal Scope to identify a ghostly figure that appears in several windows throughout the mansion.
Upon spotting the figure, players can approach an antique mirror to activate the jumpscare and loot it for a free Perk along with other valuable rewards.
Free Random Perk Easter Egg

Beyond the Jumpscare Easter Egg, a free Random Perk can also be acquired during the Main Quest. Following the step where players obtain the Metal Hip Flask, they can ring a bell located on the bar a total of 115 times to unlock a Random Perk power-up, giving them an edge against the relentless zombies.
Sleepwalking Easter Egg

Continuing the trend of offering rewarding Easter Eggs, the Sleepwalking Easter Egg enables players to receive high-tier loot. To initiate this Easter Egg, players must interact with the grandfather clock located in the Study after reaching round 11. They must then lie prone on the bed in the Director’s Quarters as the round transitions to round 12, causing all zombies to fall asleep and revealing a trail of glowing footprints leading to a loot crate.
To successfully collect the loot, players need to crouch-walk along the trail to avoid waking any zombies, find a key from a special zombie, and unlock the crate, thus acquiring exceptional rewards. For more guidance on completing this quest, feel free to reach out.
Free Pack-a-Punched Marine SP Easter Egg

Shotgun enthusiasts will be pleased to learn that Shattered Veil provides a way to acquire a free Epic-rarity Pack-a-Punched Marine SP, although completing this task is no walk in the park. To initiate this Easter Egg, players need to possess a Rare Marine SP and the Death Perception Perk, both essential for locating a specific area within the Banquet Hall where the shotgun must be placed.
Subsequently, players must fill the Marine SP with souls harvested from slain zombies while a specific Field Upgrade is active. Afterward, slaying Elite enemies will enhance the shotgun. This process can be repeated, allowing players to increase the weapon’s rarity and obtain it Pack-a-Punched without the need for Essence expenditure.
Little Vermin Easter Egg

Although the final Easter Egg in The Shattered Veil may not yield the most significant rewards, it serves as a nostalgic reference to a classic Black Ops 2 meme. The Little Vermin Easter Egg begins with players acquiring a mini Vermin from the Supply Depot, which they must take to a dish in the Mainframe Chamber, where it should be doused with chemicals and microwaved. Afterward, the Vermin must be brought to a blood pool near the Pack-a-Punch.
Next, players will need to utilize the Wunderwaffe DG-2 to shoot at a fan, drawing in the Vermin, followed by summoning a Chopper Gunner to hit several chimneys around the mansion that release red smoke. This process results in a thick fog enveloping Shattered Veil, spawning Aether Crystals across the map for players to collect. While the procedure may appear convoluted, detailed guidance is available for those eager to tackle this Easter Egg.
